What is the Community Discussions section?
The Community Discussions section is your go-to space for connecting with fellow developers, asking questions, and sharing knowledge.
This is our pilot community environment. Use this space to troubleshoot, optimize workflows, and explore innovative API uses. Your feedback will be essential, as the insights gathered here will directly shape our future decision on migrating to a unified community experience.
How is this different from Armis Support?
Community Discussions is a space designed for peer-to-peer collaboration. It’s ideal for sharing ideas, best practices, and technical insights with other developers.
For formal technical support, like resolving account-related issues or troubleshooting specific problems, the Armis Support team can help.
How do I ask a question or start a discussion?
Here’s how you can contribute:
- Log in or register and go to the Community Discussions section.
- Click the "Ask a Question" button.
- Add your question or topic, including relevant details or examples (Tip: Use the Markdown editor to include links, code snippets, or checklists to make your post clear and precise).
- Post it and check back for responses!
Can I answer questions from other users?
Yes! Sharing your insights and technical expertise is highly encouraged. If you see a question you can help with, simply click on it, type your response, and click "Add Comment."
The more we contribute, the stronger and more valuable our developer community becomes.
What tags can I use in Community Discussions?
Tags help organize content and make it easier to find topics you’re interested in. Some common tags include:
  • "about discussions" – Questions or information about the Community Discussions section.
  • "guidelines" - Here you can find the community guidelines.
  • "getting started" - Use this tag to find the welcome post and information on how to get started.
  • "announcements" - Check here for all official updates from the Armis team, including news, upcoming events, and important changes.
  • "q&a" - Have a technical question? Use this tag to ask for help and find answers from the Armis team and other developers.
  • "feedback" - Share your thoughts on the Developer Portal, documentation, or API.
  • "ideas" - Got a suggestion? Use this tag to propose improvements and help shape our roadmap.

When posting, choose the tags that best match your topic to improve visibility.

How can I use the upvote button?
If you find a question or idea particularly helpful or relevant, use the upvote button. Upvotes highlight contributions that matter most to our community, making it easier for valuable content to stand out.
What is the Answered icon?
When a question has been solved, an Armis team member will mark it with a checkmark icon. This helps other users quickly identify resolved discussions and find solutions faster.
What notifications will I receive?
- The poster of a question will be notified whenever someone responds.
- Respondents will receive notifications for subsequent replies in that thread.

This ensures that active discussions stay on your radar.

What are the guidelines for participating?
The Community Discussions section is built on principles of mutual respect and collaboration. Please review the community guidelines to ensure a positive and helpful environment for everyone.
Who moderates this space?
